‘The Big DIY Challenge’ returns for Season 2

PJ Gallagher returns to host the second season of The Big DIY Challenge on RTÉ One.

A DIY show with a twist, each week we are introduced to hobbyist crafters from all over Ireland as they design and build their wildest fantasies. They are given ten days to complete the project with a grand prize of €10,000 up for grabs. The projects this season range from a back garden climbing wall, a glamping travel pod, and a multi-level cat hotel.

Jennifer Byrne and Jimmy Englezos join the show as expert judges, assessing each project and giving DIY tips to the audience at home. Viewers can also pick their favourites each week by voting online at RTÉ’s website.

The series is produced by Vision Independent Productions for RTÉ. Screen Scene handles the final mix with Saoirse Finnegan Sheridan signed on as post production supervisor. Eoin Ryan is the mixer and Sam Connor completes the online edit.
